Retirement reimagines Charlie Brown not as the anxious boy we remember, but as an aged figure standing at the end of a long, bruising journey. Around him sit bags of money, suggesting the reward that finally arrives after years of struggle. Yet the piece does not celebrate wealth in a simple way. Instead, it asks whether financial success, security, and “making it” can ever fully erase the scars collected along the way.
